Get Involved

Every event runs on volunteers.

An hour at the book fair, a sleeve of king cake for the bake sale, or a donation toward the next school project — it all counts. Tell us how you'd like to pitch in and a board member will be in touch.

Donations go straight into the events, supplies, and teacher support the PTO funds each year. You'll enter your details on our store, pay by card or PayPal, and get a printable receipt for your tax records.

Stock the Teachers' Lounge

Our teachers run on coffee, granola bars, and the occasional uninterrupted five minutes. We can't send them the five minutes, but we can help with the rest! Our Amazon wish list is filled with snacks, drinks, and some of our staff favorites to help keep the lounge stocked. Pick anything from the list, and know you're sending a little love and appreciation to our amazing Hynes LSU team.

Be a Class Captain

One parent per class keeps the room in the loop — passing PTO news along, rounding up help when an event needs hands, and welcoming new families.

Men’s Committee

The Men’s Committee — the Hynes UNO Dad’s Club — takes on the projects that need hands and tools, and has a good time doing it. Open to dads, grandfathers, uncles, and alumni dads.

Feedback & Shout Outs
